Gil Lawson (b. 1990, San Diego, CA) is an artist, writer, and technologist based in New York City. He received a BA in Written Arts and English Literature from Bard College in 2013, an MFA in Game Design from the Game Center at NYU in 2021, and a Certificat de Cuisine de Base from Le Cordon Bleu in 2009. His work has been featured in BOMB Magazine, n+1, Triple Canopy, Waypoint, and PC Gamer, among others. He was in residence at the Recurse Center in 2017 and 2018, and participated in the Game Center's incubator in 2021 and 2022.
